Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars Preheat oven to 375°. Spray 9 x 13 pan with Pam. 1 c. butter, softened (I use 1 stick margarine, 1 stick butter) ¾ c. sugar ¾ c. firmly packed brown sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 eggs 1-12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips (2 cups) In large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Next, beat in the 2 eggs. Then, in a separate bowl, measure out and combine: 2¼ c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter/sugar mixture, mix well. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread into prepared baking pan. Bake for 23 to 24 minutes, or until top of bars are golden brown.
